Not everyone can be tough as we would like for them to be!!! I just hope we all try to be a lot more sensitive about the Author’s feelings is what I say. Peace thru sensitivity!!!

Insults and vindictive abuse, no-one should tolerate.

But constuctive criticism is great, but it is therapy for some delicate souls, if people want to be abusive, I'm sure there is a sight called life's losers...

no use for negativity, constructive criticism, yes, but not blatant attacks--we have enough terrorists to worry about, ADers shouldn't have to worry

Excellent Ed, you use common sense.
However I do agree with LaBelle, too.
sometimes the negativity in emails etc
can get to one, and a break is necessary.
But not leaving,there are always going to
be detractors wherever you write.

Now just off the top of my head, thats one long chapter hehehe. Seriously alot of authors are attacked in here and just cannot cope with it, we tend to be a melancholy lot. If I disappear for a time it's that Im run off me cotton pickin feet, dogs kids husbands and wot not, actually make that one husband.

Wot I find more daunting is not so much comments, but the lack of them!!

Kinda makes yah worry, but then other times, heaps of reviews happen, and I guess everyone has their off times too.
Dont worry ED, Rufuz will always keep you smilin. Oh and he liked that naughty WIlLOW huh, Hmmmmm tell him shes a tad young yet. ;)

Wooof..Oh speaking of wooof, Rod me, his sister and her fiance all went to a seaside watering hole ( for a drink Sat night) Well you know about whoppie cushions right, well one of our chairs made a sort of dog whining noise, so we video taped it on the camera. Called it woofie cushion.
I told the Prop about it, and he assured us he will set up his cousin with that chair LOL, if I ever work out how to send it, I will.

It got so horrible here a couple of times I had to leave for a while. After a while all the negativity and back stabbing (much of it goes on in email you don't see it on the board) will kill a writer's creativity. When that begins to happen it's time for a break. I always hate to see anyone leave and despise the situations that often cause it. But if it is comments on poetry that are unwelcomed or inappropriate, there is always the delete button. Enjoyable write, Ed.
