Watchin' some neighbors gave me this idea...

Ain’t you got no Life?

Look at you sittin’ home,

Writin’ poetry, singin’ song,

Watchin’ the tube, usin’ the lube,

What is it with you guys, ain’t you got no life?

It’s a holiday weekend; you got three days,

To frolic and spend by the pool, the pond, or puddle,

Personally I set out my chaise lounge by the cesspool,

Catching flies with my tongue, taking dips in the poop is fun…

So get on out there and whoop and holler,

Watch the fireworks, make your own, have a few beers, don’t want to hear you groan…                poppywrited/ed ~ 7/4/04

Are you a frog? or do you just have an olympic-abled tongue? LOL. Jaysus, Eddie M, this sounds like my dad when we were kids.. "you kids should be outside.. turn off that TV!!" ok, dad.. sigh.. Good advice, great writing (I mean it!) and a perfect parental voice. Can't ask for much more than that, can we? Thank you, sir.. katy xox.

I fear you have been spending Way Too Much Time, with Andy.

Skip the flies, but a skinny dip in the cesspool, does sound tempting.

Nother thought came to mind, what sort of monitor do you have, and if you have a CRT not an LCD or TFT, then you'll get massive eye and brain strain from the older CRTs. I used my CRT for a boat anchor long ago, was sitting at it, but got too many sensations in the head, all eye to the brain induced of course, beware of fluroescent flickering, same with the TV, ( Hubby is a Tech) so I have been doing an apprenticeship for years LOL.
Any fireworks going off outside yet?
Lucky buggars you lot. We didnt get independant, still ruled over by Monarchs, and aristocrats.
Hugs
Ch'erie
