Hot Flashes…

Do men get them as well as women?

Am I getting them of late, or is it the meds?

I have the A/C blowing right on me,

At full cold, usually I would herein shiver,

Instead all I get is the occasional shake from my liver…

Has this anything to do with the fact that I am getting old?

Am I to feel this forever and ever, till I find myself in the ground?

Or can I expect to some degree that eventually I will be a bit more sound?

Will I continue to be an old fart, unable to smell even my own farts?

Burping and farting, without knowledge or regards,

For the ramifications, maybe I should just engage myself in a vacation…?

Where do hot flashes come from?

Are they caused by something that I eat?

Is my blood pressure the culprit?

Who is, after all is said and done, the perpetrator of this thing, not so fun?

Will I ever learn, will I ever realize who or where this does come from?

All questions asked by this writer, and those that feel the same, by others,

I bet you have asked these questions at one time or another…

Maybe if you do know the answer, telling me now might not be so keen,

As with all the other problems I have been experiencing of late,

I may not want this answer to be known,

So I don’t in some way act towards someone else so altogether mean, or obscene…
