Feeling better than I could, yet better to feel I should...

Just to bring you all up to date,

alive I am, yes I be,

prostate cancer is not spreading, see,

all happening inside of me,

now I got time to go and visit,

my favorite place, the ocean or sea...

No longer am I gainfully employed,

Just for two months of unemployment, so don’t get annoyed,

Would not take more than my fair share,

I worked for it, so now I can use what I have in there…

Steroids making me hungry and tired, more so than usual,

Glad this layoff was not me getting fired,

I had stretched myself to almost a breaking point,

Migraines, hunger pangs, hard to stay awake,

My lot in life, with this new medication,

Now I can smoke when I want, yes my joint…

Feeling better than I thought I would,

Yet at my age, I could feel better or at least I should,

Now I have got some time to take Rufuz out into the woods,

As for this time of year, no pets on the beach are allowed…

Enough already of this herein complaining,

Fortunately for now the weather is holding, no raining,

Time to go on the beach, time to search the sand,

Time to become a kid again, won’t have to watch TV,

And see all the campaigning; sitting on the beach,

With the time I have off, yes remaining…

Ed I'm sorry to hear you're not up to par, but I'm glad
you have the beach to go to, and Rufuz too.I think your
excellent attitude will help you to get well quicker than
anything else. God bless you! Keep writing!

Time to become a kid again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Yes, Yes! Best medicine around as long as you become a very humorous kid, splashing around in the water and mud with old Rufuz. I bet he can't wait to help you be a kid again either. Go For It!

PS I don't think those smokes are on the medicinal list for what ails ya, but who's keepin track. Just don't forget to eat your Wheaties, too! And your Cocoa Puffs; Kids are Crazy for Cocoa Puffs!
