Trying to remember as much as I can from my childhood, getting it down on disc, so I can have it for my future...seem to be quite forgetful of late, except for things from the distant past...

Remembrances Continued…

Sand castles on the beach,

Squeezing wet sand thru young fingers,

Building spires of sand to the stars they did reach,

Childhood play that was there to teach…

Cried I did, as my castles were taken by the incoming tide,

Have to learn to build closer to the dry side,

Each experience a learning situation, learned like all worldwide,

Forgotten in ten minutes, onto more fun endeavors outside…

Boy mom this sand does really taste pretty good,

A little gritty, between my few baby teethy’s, more fun than broccoli,

Oh mom don’t wash out my mouth with that fresh water,

Salt water does taste good too, hey what is that weight in my rear?

Could it be the sand I ate, or the salt water I drank, phew it really stank…

I reflect on the past all the time; sometimes I wish I could go back to the way things were before 9-11...Love the humor in this one; well done!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)
