Five Months -minus- One Day…

Yes there is five months minus one day,

So much or so little time, depending on your way,

Get out to the malls; go shopping in the halls,

Go looking for that gift; your kids want some balls,

Or maybe a new horse for that extra stall…

Howsoever, we need to get our collective butts in gear,

The kids, they need sneakers and shorts, related gear,

Never find do we the time to just pick it up during the year,

Wait till the last minute, we do it every season,

So start out early, will get you out of the house, you now have a reason…

Just a friendly warning, yes a few words of advice,

Better to do it now than when the weather does bring ice,

This seems a worldly thing, waiting till the last minute,

At least the world I seem to live in, a little of life, slice…

You know what herein I do speak of,

In your head you said you got plenty of time,

But you know as well, it will sneak up on you, of time this is a crime,

Get out there, do your thing, be ready this year instead,

Of waiting to the last minute, when in your head,

Too many thoughts will be jumbled feeling like it is dead…
