A drugged hug

Came to me in an after-buzz during sleep...

A drugged hug…

Hugs not drugs,

All very well and good,

A place for kids to be yes they should,

For me though, I stand on my record, yes stood…

No record have I got,

Not for drugged hugs, yes I said not,

Too tired may I be this early,

To write something that came to me while sleep quite surely,

And don’t whatever you do, call me Shirley…

The brightness of the screen in the darkened room,

Still night out side, wish I did have a shroom,

Or a little tiny bit of speed, then I would vroom,

Off into the sunrise at the beach,

To start my day with a surf; the hurricane still out of reach,

A rush a powerful wave can give one,

Forgetting drugs for that moment, stopping at the shoreline with a screech…

Have no clue how this little write did arise,

Just knew I had to put it down no lies,

Just wanted to tell you of this interesting little ditty, yes advise,

To be honest not trying to defend nor decriminalize,

My only desire is to for all intents and purposes,

Write with my thighs while I do above that cross my eyes…

Aha! Packed with truths, wall-to-wall.. no, you do NOT lie (a lovely thing) and yes, decriminalizing your "delights" should be a done deal! My only disappointment, herein (as you would say.. hehe), is that I can no longer call you Shirley. Sigh... very well, Margaret. Sometimes, you're positively James Joycian. (smile) hurray for stream of consciousness... Surf's Up! katy xox.

So are your thighs right-handed or left-handed?

Dear Shirley,

Hugs are good, whether given while drugged or not.

Hugs to You,
A Fan

I waxed the long board, the big waves are glassy and there is little shore break.
