Fantastical Dreaming

What a great dream I did have, wish they all could be that fun...

Fantastical Dreaming…

There were gnomes and urchins and trolls,

Fairies and peter pan types all thru my dream taking strolls,

They were there I was told, to keep me from getting old,

Told them they were to late my mind and heart gone cold,

But they did persist till I was unable to resist…

I feel better for that dream,

They gave me butterscotch ice cream,

It made me younger; it made me scream,

It made me feel better about the self,

It was the one and only in my dream little elf,

He gave me self-confidence, my life again full of self-esteem…

Such dreams I wish I did have more often,

Instead of the dreams of war and strife,

I could have dreams of getting straight my life,

And of course making Rene my wife,

Our lives together so much more rife…

Twas a dream I will not soon forget,

Nor will I ever or do I now regret,

I in my dream was only a silhouette,

But Rufuz was there as well slobbering so wet,

He is my dog, my best buddy; he is my only pet,

So farewell to the little creatures of that dream,

They are behind me if I need them,

Just like that of a home team…

It is an honor to be visited by the little people :-) Enjoy the icecream in your mind when things look dark and remember the joy that they have shared with you. Wonderful!

Being an old hippy, then, I sincerely hope you have this kind of "flashback" time and time again, Ed! Anything that gives us self-esteem and confidence is worth more than its weight in gold - and how wonderfully to be gifted in this way FOR FREE!! You are indeed a rich man if you enjoy this kind of freedom outside and within. Old hippies sure do have all the fun! Thanks for sprinkling your fair-share of Happy Dust about the Den today! Kate xx
