Hey long haired hippie freak, get a haircut…

Now I can say,

Hey hippie, get a haircut today,

In a fit of depression and pain,

Last night did I with my ponytail do away,

6 or so inches is gone now, it will grow back anyway…

I miss it; I wish I did just cut 2 or three,

But I grabbed to much, did cut it like a tree,

I gaze in the mirror, who looks back is not me,

My hair it is gone, in the back, no longer do I feel free…

I have done it before, for much the same reasons,

Worried did I, would not get hired at a new job,

Here I sit, and here I do find myself doing the sob,

Perhaps I should go all the way, shave myself bald,

Get rid of my beard, shave off my eyebrows,

Look like a bowling ball I would, or a ball one pokes with a cue,

I don’t know what to do I really have no clue…
