When dealing with this poet,
It is better to watch what you say,
As he may run with it,
He really does love to just play...ed

"I look like a little butterball,” Karen did say…

I didn’t start this; I said nothing, no way,

I like my teeth, what few I have left,

Right where they are, don’t want from her, a cleft,

But though she is small and “chubby”,

Being a waitress, I am sure with her hands she is quite deft…

Never would I say anything against the special “K” twins of Texas,

As they are so young and toughies,

And I am so old and moldy,

They could beat my butt with a frying pan,

There are two of them, and I am only one man…

So if you go to the store to look for Butterball turkeys,

Be sure to remember what she said about herself,

Giving yourself just a bit of little laugh,

Then thinking, how can I cook and eat a turkey,

It will remind me of Karen, better to get some beef jerky…

You're one lovable nut. I'm with Karla. I'll keep to myself all my bad sayings about me lest I begun the butt of a joke. Now who will I think of when I see beef jerky?

you are too funny, ed! you may thought you insulted me, but you made me laugh with this one! LOL (and no i would NEVER hit you; i'd probably regret it! plus don't forget! you have rufie dear to protect you; i am no match against a pooch protecting his master! i would never do anything to rufie either; he is too cute!) this is a keeper!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :D

one mistake though: i am NOT a waitress. too strenuous on my arthritic little body, plus how can i carry stuff while using a CRUTCH?? i wrap the silverware, or i do dishes if need be! i love my job and what i do, but i don't like dealing with the mexicans and their not speaking english! drives me NUTZ!! as for karla, she works the front line, on the cash register. she has been at golden corral for nearly 7 years, and i have been there for 4 1/2 years. hope this helps!
