Gotta start wearing clothes, this sleeping in the nude is quite brisk...
Lack of Heat… In the fifties last night, Predicted in the forties tonight, Oh my but the fall has sprung, Or is that the spring has fallen, Either way my heater on has come… Yesterday hot, humid, a normal Jersey day, Got the camper all washed, ready for winter that’s at the door, Does keeping it clean make it warmer or colder? I don’t know the difference but it looks better today, not older… Again the campers do take their leave, Not many more weekends with campers; I do not grieve, Quiet will overtake our campground, No noisy kids, nor early morning around the fire pits, Soon the snow will fly, and to keep warm will have to cuddle up to tits, Maybe the best time of the year, keeping warm with sex, If that is a crime, then I most certainly am one that commits… © ed ~ 9/19/04

o, to have lows like that! we've been running in the mid to upper 70s for WEEKS now...i'd gladly trade

least your electric bill will be cheaper--that's a bonus

and rufuz (or rene *grins*) is a warm body--snuggle time!!!! :)

excellent write--now when it's 50 below, THAT'S when you have a lack of heat! LOL

mmm....mmm....Yes indeed! I do agree with you regarding the next to the last line of this poem...lol. But then again, "anytime" is good for sex!.....lol. I can feel the cold already....LOL. Loved your write.

When I lived in CT we used to go down to the Saybrook bridge and wave bye-bye to all the summer folks as they left after Labor Day. Your poem reminds me of that time and the quiet that would follow.

I'm reminded of that poem you wrote long ago, asking for ideas on how to keep your "tootsies" warm... don't forget those wool socks, Eddie, dear.
