Poem Artwork

Weathered…

Got that old weathered look,

The kind you can’t get from a book,

The kind you can only find stolen by a crook,

That old weathered look is what I got, oh yeah, I didn’t find it,

Now way, I actually went out and borrowed it, yeah its what I took…

My face has all this grizzled fuzz,

A beard looking like fizzled scuzz,

My hair a bit too long, with that nothing wrong,

Bet you if I were a car, no one would want me, not even for a song…

My glasses all scratched and chipped,

It’s a wonder I can see anything beyond my lips,

If you do learn one thing from this, I hope it is that you don’t ask me to strip,

Boy will you be in for a surprise, my body not very well equipped,

Maybe you should just altogether this poem skip…J
