Just screwin' around as usual...

SMALL…

Sometimes I do write so infinitesimally small,

Such that you can hardly read my scrawl,

I do so to try to you enthrall,

If you cannot read this herein just call,

The poetry police, out they are in full force,

Ready to help, to break up a brawl…

So small I do write,

My own eyes have to squint,

Better to write in a darker print,

Easier to read all my misprints,

And manuscripts...

Sometimes I do just like to have fun,

Changing fonts and sizes and colors to match the sun,

Never am I to be outdone,

The button that holds my pants always undone,

Please do read my poetry herein and don’t shun,

I do so like this just to make a joke, yes a pun…

sometimes you crack me up
or turn me inside out -
a mystery to me
just what you write about.
it's quite a diversion
to read your playful words.
High-brow or subversion,
it ain't just for the birds...
