I sem to have found my funny bone, as I had thought it was lost...

After Smell…

You have heard of after taste,

But have you heard of after smell?

The smell left after a fart,

Probably from eating that tart…

It lingers on the air,

Permeating everything made of cloth,

The sofa, the chair, oh my it killed that little moth,

Knocking it right the heck out of the air over there…

Oh my, dear friend, please open the windows,

Let the air flow in and the stink blow out,

Geez it smells in here of over-cooked dead trout,

Thank goodness I have to get out of my house to go do my route…

I do believe that Ogden Nash, has invaded your brain, and wherever his spirit is, just now, he is grinning up a storm! You continue to prove, oh, cheeky one, that poetry has a home for nonsense. katy xox. (grin)

Thank goodness I have to get out of my house to go do my route…

The insects of the world thank God, too, Ed. Now open some windows - so they can breathe while you're gone!!
