Head Rush…

Standing when high,

Makes me sigh,

Rush in my head,

Prior to going to bed…

Sitting is the way to stay,

Getting up is the way to sway,

Rufuz is always on the floor in the way,

Better in my bed he should lay…

Till I do fall into bed,

Squashing my favorite puppy into the spread,

That I cannot do, better he does lay on the dash instead,

Therein he won’t be thrown out with tomorrow’s trash…

Damn I need to get high more often,

I do write like the wind off the ocean,

When I am high as the proverbial weather balloon,

Floating down for the heights of space,

Is it the thin air that makes me swoon?

Or the fact that with the cow and the spoon,

I did just jump up and over the moon…?!
