One hell of a time for the meds to wear off

All in fun...

One hell of a time for the meds to wear off…

Off they have worn,

Need more meds,

My prescription was torn,

Need they do when I was born,

Hell, I can’t remember that far back, felt scorned…

Need to up my meds,

That’s what the doctor said,

How can I as I only know how to go down?

Going up I can only do when on my meds,

Life without my meds I do most certainly dread…

Anti-urination, anti-cholesterol, anti-depressant,

Anti this and anti that, I am forever in convalescence,

Should have stayed young, yes an adolescent,

Therein I would not feel like I am becoming an obsolescent…

Becoming obsolete is the least of your worries, Eddie M.... not the way you write. In fact, one might even say of your poetry, that it is pretty much always The Full Monty! LOL. Up the anti... up the meds... and up and at 'em! katy xox.

Just think when time goes backwards if you have a hangover, you know you're in for a good night..

We all should have stayed young - but we didn't - and life must go on, my friend. Now go outside and revel in Nature for awhile with Rufuz, that should cheer you up. (Mud wrestling is especially relaxing, and good therapy.)
