So what do you think it is about, read the damn title, LOL!

Poem Artwork

My Muse is takin’ a Snooze…

I know I have said this before,

I know I have stated this of late,

But writing just tonight has lost its lore,

Wish I could awaken my muse before it does snore…

Granted that this poem does rhyme,

So if taken in the context of tyme,

I am still able to use my muse,

Even though it is supposedly takin’ a snooze…

Where do you suppose that word came from?

Snooze? Possibly from the term, “you snooze you lose”,

Or perhaps once drunk, you have to sleep,

So you would have to snooze after drinking booze,

Hey I told you my muse was takin’ its snooze,

What do you want from me; tonight I have no clues…

As to the cure,
I have no clue.
Your muse talks in her sleep,
So don't be blue.

The important thing is that you keep writing even in your sleep.

A Muse, like a Moose, has to Snooze, too, so Eddiu, don't be blue, he will soon awake and come back to You.

Ha! There must be a message in this poem and I . . . Oh, I got it . . . Marvelous Muse Missed Mornings Mooring. Okay. As you can plainly see, my own muse is taking her own nap. Drat.
