Poem Artwork

Hallmark cards…

They make one for everything nowadays,

Something for everyone yes they say,

A little bit of this or a lot of that,

Even a card to send to tell if your fat…

Cards with sexual humor,

Cards to help you get over a tumor,

Cards that help to spread a rumor,

Cards you can send with a pair of bloomers,

Cards they are made for every consumer…

Animal cards for people,

Religious cards with a church steeple,

People cards most likely for animals,

They should be found in histories annuls…

Naked women for men,

Naked men for women,

Hairless male dogs for female’s in heat,

Pictures of men and women between the sheets,

Cards with your age on the front,

Cards for football kickers, how happily they do punt…

So many cards, so many rhymes,

More cards than you can buy,

During this life on earth, more maybe the next time…?

Ahhhhh... since your poetry comes directly from your life and who crosses your path, may I conclude that you have just had to face the daunting task of choosing a card for someone? The pic is beyond hilarious! You never flinch, Eddie M, and this is no exception... you've spoken detailed truth that everyone can relate to. Sigh... (Where does Rufuz shop for Father's Day cards?) hehe... katy xox.
