Leaf carpeting…

If up to me leaves would stay year round,

On the grass, on the roof, on the ground,

Never would I use the rake,

Just would I do this for only my sake…

Tis’ true I hate to rake,

Yard work, in general, I try to get someone else to take,

But when it comes to leaves,

I do love to roll around in them when I do wear short sleeves…

Maybe if I do move them from outside to in,

Would that be so much a mortal sin?

No longer would I need to rake,

Let them break down and let them decompose,

Then inside people will think they do look fake,

Maybe a new trend I will start, yes compose,

In front of my home, I can for Home & Garden, pose…
