I think my funny bone is out of tune, but gotta keep tryin'...
Veggies, fruits and nuts… Rutabaga’s… Where did they come up with that name? I wouldn’t know one if I tripped over it, Seems that is the only way to find it, As it is a root of some sort, or so they claim… Lettuce… Now this I do know, I have eaten it; it creates an internal flow, Also I have heard the pastor use the term, “Lettuce pray”, he says it with gusto, yes so firm… Coconuts… Are they a veggie, a fruit or a nut? They are quite hard I will tell you that, When they fall thru the roof of my hut, I feel as I have been hit with a metal bat… Corn… When the Indians first supplied us with it, Did they even suppose we would scrape it off the cob? Who would have even thought that someone would add cream? Guess we would not have been able to “pass” the cob, It most likely would have the tendency to make us scream… Cauliflower… Now that is one name I cannot fathom, Sounds like what someone would call a madame, Better than a name like macadam… Broccoli spears… I have had these and do not believe they look like spears, Could they have been given us by the Indians as well? Something they did use at one time to capture and kill their steers, Who knows where these names did come from, I just found them all so queers… © ed ~ 11/6/04

Funny Ed and geez I am jealous that I did not think of it. Sounds like a Bubba Do Good thing. Hey my arm muslces is building up deleting all those spams and blacklisting them. Maybe I need to brocelli spear them on their rutagaba. I wonder where that one came up to.

Note: this would make a fabulous challenge, Ed! Now, then, as my giggling subsides so I can type (I can type?? hehe) Rutabagas are my favorites, with butter and salt, YUM! LOLOL, Rutabaga is actually a plant that floats merrily in the sea, and by all accounts is highly nutritious. I have seen em when diving many times, though I never acutally grabbed one for the eating, too busy playing with a moray eel at the time :)
