Nighttime…

At night it is now cold,

Glad am I my heater was not sold,

An electric blanket with comforter on top,

Don’t want to get up out of bed, the cold I can’t stop…

My feet get colder than the rest of me,

Insulation on the floors, as well as wearing socks is the key,

To keeping them warm, wish a fire could be made from the outside tree,

But surely I will survive, the winter winds, and the cold,

Keeping myself warm from the inside out with a little bit of tea…

Tis’ day time now,

The sun does warm but only just a bit,

Still better than at night,

As I age, I seem to better in the daytime, fit,

Plastic on the windows, insulation on the walls,

Will hopefully this winter, help me to keep warm, I admit…
