Humor, but then again not...

A funny thing happened today while I was at work…

Came home to find,

A certain poem of mine,

Was deleted, taken right off my den,

Don’t know who did it or when?

As I write about my life,

From day to day and night to night,

I do enjoy to feel that I do write what is mostly right,

If someone was to remove whatever it is they want,

Then what is the sense to add poems and stories?

In the future I won’t have to then take any inventories…

So if what I did write was not right,

Then feel free to tell me, I would have removed it from the light,

But to just do so, without any warning, or without any statement,

I can see I will not be renewing my membership herein,

Yes that is right, unless I get some sort of explanation,

This will be the year I do choose no reinstatement…

It's called Selective Censorship, Ed, and others have had their posts removed, too, while some have been allowed to do what you did for months with no action taken. Yet another reason why many of us will not be renewing our memberships.

Ed,
I was asked to change my password also. Yesterday seemed like the strangest day at the den. I went throught most of the day not being able to comment on anyone's poetry and I know others here had the same problem. I hope you get a justifiable answer cause you would sorely be missed.

Ed, Sensorship in any form is wrong, but to do it anonymously is even worse. If it is not a computer glitch, then I guess you can blame it on Janet Jackson's boob. It seems that society is on another politically incorrect bandwagon. Don't go... stay and fight because you have the right... and I don't want to miss your slice of life.

You directly named someone in your poem, in fact you named him three times by three names. I feel sure this is why you were removed. It is a Major NO NO.

I do hope you get an answer because you would be missed around here.

hmmm that is strange, Ed. You should write to AD and see if they removed it and why. I have heard stories of someone, somehow, getting your password and ID info and messing with people's things in their den. At one point, AD asked me to change my password, specifically for that reason
