Poetry it may not be,
I just need to write about something,
Can't this you see...?

My fry pan…

I cook most often,

On my fry pan of choice,

West Bend did make it,

When I do buy a new one,

I scream out with rejoice…

My oven I have never used,

The top part on the other hand,

Has helped keep me warm,

As well as cooked my spaghetti,

And my sauce in a pan…

I did buy of late a new fry pan,

The temps on the old one were wearing away,

I have yet to break in the new one,

Still it is in a box, in a bag,

Saving it for a special meal,

Or maybe I just don’t want to break the seal…

Lovely emotional twist expressed here. Should i open and use the new one, knowing it will look old soon? or using the good old one until its bitter de-teflonized scratchy end? Hope you enjoy cooking with your pans either way. I love to fry with olive oil & garlic, or regular butter. Franz
