Thanks for making my life enjoyable,

Thanks for helping me to remain stable,

Thanks for treating me like family,

Only thing you have not done is,

Invite me to share food at your table…

Thanks for giving me the strength to go on,

Thanks for showing me the power of the pen,

Thanks for being there when I needed to talk,

Thanks for teaching me what I needed without any squawk…

You all, whether you have commented or not,

Have been there through times of cold and hot,

I write sometimes good and sometimes bad,

You have never expressed displeasure or said you were mad…

Thank you for all the above, and more, that my muse can’t recall,

I hope you do enjoy your day of Thanksgiving,
