Sittin’ here, tryin’ to keep warm…
Heaters on, too much ‘lectricity being used,
For me that’s like somethin’ being abused,
My pocketbook for one, can’t wait for the sun,
Coldest tonight it’s been all season,
Get used to it Ed, it’s winter afterall,
No more balmy nights of fall,
Summer is past, we have seen its last,
Spring is but a memory, something to hope for,
Summer down under now; they have to have their time,
Still I am envious, can’t get it out of my mind,
Writing with no breaks this night,
Just rambling on till the sun does my world, re-light,
You are probably thinking, “Oh Ed, give it a rest,”
Stop complainin’, it gets you nowhere, it is however this writers blight,
To speak of the obvious, and you want me to “go fly a kite!” J

Here's a new and very practical question: Does your neighborhood allow you to raise sheep? Then you'd have your own source of wool. Isn't that brilliant? Aren't I helpful? (griiiiiiiiin) Otherwise, you could put your "tootsies" under Rufuz... he looks very warm!

you think it's cold now, wait til you see what's coming down the pike--it's in the 60s here, by next weekend, the highs here are supposed to be in the low 30s, lows in the low teens...BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, texans ain't USED to that! i'm gonna freeze! but at least if we can't HAVE snow, it'll feel a lot like Christmas :)
eat some hot soup and wrap up in a blanket and have rufuz sit on you--he'll keep you warm :)
