Hopefully humor, if not, I have no idea...

Poem Artwork

Humorous meanderings…

Of all the things I have lost,

I miss my mind the most…

I just missed hitting the lottery,

I only needed six numbers…

My mother never saw the irony,

Of calling me a son-of-a-bitch…

Well-meaning ineptitude that rises

to empyreal absurdity…(now what the hell did this mean & where did it

                                                          come from?)

Why even bother with marriage,

Just find someone that drives you nuts,

And buy a house together…

I got a sweater for Christmas, though I really wanted a screamer or a moaner…

Wouldn’t you know it…brain cells come and brains cells go,

But fat cells live forever…

(some of these I am sure I heard or saw someplace so I can’t claim copy write) but I thought you may find them to be humorous thoughts…ed

Ed, you made me laugh out loud. Now I have to wipe all the milk I spit on the screen. Sweater, indeed. You kill me.

Well Ed I have never claimed to be sane and I think it is perfectly fine to be a little nuts.

Cute thoughts. I think I liked this one the best:

Why even bother with marriage,
Just find someone that drives you nuts,
And buy a house together…

I wish I could relate - but I don't miss mine at all - makes life a lot simpler!

You got me laughing! Great two-liners. If you haven't, you should try stand up comedy.

A humorous look at the world and life through my eyes. Follow the author and his wife, as they travel the world …. several times over. Laugh at their funny stories, self-inflicted crazy events, strange observations, wacky zoo facts and snippets
