Peanut Brittle

Munchies tonight, not high, just in the mood to snack...

Peanut Brittle…

Pieces so little,

Delicious is brittle,

Peanuts enclosed,

Bad for the teeth I have supposed…

Only a dollar,

Not hard to figure,

As I am no scholar,

Still each one I do adore,

No story is this from lore…

Just like candy,

Peanut brittle,

Is a lot like Skittle’s,

Sweet to the taste buds,

Sugary enough to wake me up,

If dropped on my shirt,

They do clean up without suds…

So if you’re looking for a snack,

When you’re high or just hungry,

Look to peanut brittle, they are fun to crack,

And they do come in a small enough pack…

This is a "sweet" write. It brings back memories because, I had an aunt who made her own p-brittle and, as a kid of the 50's watching black and white telly, well them was good ol' days for me.

Hey did you get new knees? How great! Be sure to go for therapy though so they work as well as they are intended to work! Not all doctors will send you for therapy...INSIST!! You'll be glad you did! This is a silly, sweet piece Ed!!! Yum! Michelle
