Is It Worth It?

Gotta give my car her New Years gift too...

Is It Worth It…?

Is it worth it to wash my car?

Is it worth it to make it shine like a star?

Is it worth it to make the interior smell nice?

Is it worth it to do before the winters snow and ice?

This week upcoming they do predict much rain,

But my car is special to me so who can blame,

Right now it looks as if it went through a war,

So I will have something today to do and won’t be bored…

With my new job, it won’t be running often,

The old girl will get a big break; her life will then soften,

She will again become just an occasional driver,

So let me go out today and make her a clean survivor…

Temps today in the 60’s, a picture perfect day to clean,

By tonight she won’t remember how this morning she looked obscene,

She is after all my most beloved machine…

Well yes it is worth it after all men have to have something to brag on. For polishing I reccomend using an old woman's powder puff that is if they still make them. Not the new ones but the kind that used to come in a box of powder.
