Depolarized, Demagnetized & Detached

I've not the foggiest idea as to what category to put this under, in point of fact I have no idea what it mean, it just sort of flowed out, kinda dribbled from my mouth as it were...ed

Depolarized, demagnetized, and detached…

                               DETACHED…

What the hell does that title mean, am I over matched?

Or am I truly here before the chicken as I was hatched,

I sometimes do wear a hat that I hear was thatched,

Maybe my head should be sewn shut, yes patched…

                              DEPOLARIZED…

Scary though it may be to those of you who understand,

If you do understand what I herein mean, can you please for me expand?

I don’t wish to make it look as if I have no brain cells,

But of late it seems I have been hearing from my head only bells,

So if you can help me here I really would be in your debt,

Please do remind me what we are discussing, as I do at times forget…

                        DEMAGNETIZED…

So what did I want to say here in this little rant?

Things that I am not able to say elsewhere or can’t,

My magnetic north is floating towards the south,

Let me quick make my point before it totally does dribble from my mouth…

What the hell did that title mean again?

Did I ever answer that question?

I really hate to be otherwise mundane,

But what choice have I got, I am only here to entertain…

My magnetic north is floating towards the south,

This and many other lines make this a thoughtful, fascinating piece, Eddie M... I think it's possible, even desireable, at times, to stick it out there and find out what dialogue it inspires. You have a gifted knack for titles, my dear.

Note: when in doubt for category, you can always use "Poetry", for that is precisely what you do! (smile) katy xox.

I most humbly bow to an expert well maybe not. I get that way sometimes in that I left my brain someplace.

And you have accomplished your goal - you are always entertaining!

PS Those bells you hear in your head are part of the dreaded 'Over 50 Male Menopause' Syndrome, along with the hot and cold flashes that you are experiencing - get used to it!

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
