A quickie…(miscellaneous thoughts)

A quickie I do write,

As I must go to work, only right,

I must sail through this poem

Even in spite,

Of my desire to write through the night…

Upon reading some reviews,

And poems of others about their news,

I find I must comment,

It does seem a lot of us do belong in zoos…

With me at the top of that list,

I have tried to hit the mark before, only to miss,

Some poems make no sense,

Do you get herein my gist…?

Try as I may, I find it hard to understand,

Some writes just seem beyond my command,

Most however are really great, yes quite grand,

Please to you all, keep writing, someday my brain will come up out of the sand…
