Squeezed… Think your job is tough? This guy has to put up with being squeezed, Fortunately he is thin, his job is definitely tough, He has to this other guy appease… Nothing like being too big for his chair, For the guy on the right it isn’t fair, He is so fat he doesn’t see or care, That he is squeezing this guy like a lemon éclair… What else can be said? They both have to work to make the bread, Each day the guy on the right comes in he has to dread, The day will come when his patience will shred, The fat guy on the left may then become very dead… © ed ~ 1/31/05

You've opened a can of worms, Eddie M... when we "common folk" are trying to squish the notion that anorexic is beautiful, let's try not to be intolerant ourselves. Doing battle with the waistline is, for most of us, a lifelong thing. I know you didn't mean any harm... but for some, it's a wound that doesn't heal. Sigh... katy xox.

Amen! A good number of morbidly obese people in Western culture need a serious change of lifestyle AND to stop making excuses; there are very few among us who do not have to work on the weight control issue--daily... LOVE the photo!

I lived with an overweight guy for over 22 years. Its this type of writing and joking that I find distasteful. The overweight person might even laugh with you, but they are crying inside. Be careful, karma tends to give us what we do not understand.

Ed,
I used to weigh over 410 pounds,
I now weigh 300 pounds. I have lost the amount
of a whole person! I am doing well. I have done this in 2 years.
Some people may have medical problems or genetic defects, like me, called "Cowden's Syndrome" which make you gain weight! The style of my eating does not help either.
Be careful in what you write.
