Morning aches and pains

Wrote this the other morning...feeling better now...

Morning aches and pains…

Oh boy do I hurt this morning,

My lower back and leg does throb,

Perhaps my body is giving me warning,

But of what I cannot fathom, maybe slow down on the job…?

My sciatica is really kickin’ this morning,

My thigh is numb and with my back I feel like an old bum,

Feels like I slept on the concrete last night,

Only getting up to pee, when my dreams did take flight…

Should I take a pill?

I seem to, of late, take a great deal,

A pill for pain, a pill to stay sane,

Should I take it with a meal?

Or just as usual pop it because of how badly I do feel…

I hope you have a good day, and hope you don’t start your day this way…

*ouch*. i know what you mean...not good to have aches and pains, let alone back pain and sciatica. i had an attack of it yesterday (threw my back out when i sneezed; LOL imagine!!), but today it seems to be behaving itself. also am sick with a horrible chest/head cold/sinus infection combo. whee! when i do it, i do it good! LOL hope you feel better soon, sweetie!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :(

Au Contraire, mon ami... I started my day under 2 quilts, grinning ear to ear because it isn't a work day! I wiggled my toes, hummed show tunes, and congratulated myself for making coffee the night before, so I could have a lovely, tall glass of iced coffee. YUM!

Note: but, god help me, I've had that kind of morning back pain. ICK! I'm glad you're better. ME TOO! Griiiiiiin! katy xox

Growing old, finding pain in parts of the body, I didn't even know I had. Need money, so can't be laying around missing work. I'll have all eternity to do that...

I havent had day free of pain, since........I was a kid, freaking arthritis in my family..but with good diet, and some good ole fashioned remedies, I manage, so I do empathize with you.
I am a vegetarian though, it keeps all the uric acid build ups at bay, and drink half a lemon in water morning and night..thats for starters mate.
Love n hugs
