Triangular Angulations…

There I be, lost in the triangle aboard the Rene Lyn,

Surrounding me are many a sharks fin,

My compass spinning, off the charts I seem to be, ain’t it a sin,

No engine have I got, I am adrift much to my chagrin…

A fog bank did enshroud me, I couldn’t anywhere see,

The ocean did turn a shade of gray, not the usual blue sea,

The ocean now becalmed, not a ripple of movement,

I hope that the gods of the sea do hear my fervent plea…

No breeze to feel, no sky to see, no sun, but warmth I do feel,

No sound, my clocks have even stopped running,

My watch stopped when did the clocks,

Wish do I that I were home on my beach sunning,

This is too weird, the triangle has been known for its cunning…

Will I be caught here for life to slowly starve?

My radio does not transmit, but receive it does,

So many others seem to be speaking the frequency all a buzz,

Are we caught in the present, the future or a time that was…?

Fabulous adventure - stay right there and I'll come look for you - always wanted to get Lost in the Triangle, too.

PS Keep your eye out for both Atlantis and giant UFOs - they are both in that Triangle with you somewhere.

This feels like the first page of an interesting trip through un-time, Ed. I think you could write several poems off of the groundwork you have laid here. In my imagination I am seeing strange occurences, the finding of a magical world beneath the sea and in the end, harnessed dolphins towing you back up into your old familiar seas where time begins to move forward again. I stepped right into this poem, Ed and my imagination went in so many directions. This is excellent.
Take care,
Sherry
