Running noses…
Chasing them does no good,
Covering them neither with a hood,
Perhaps taking a pill I should,
It runs so fast, can’t catch it, wish I could…
How did I get this problem?
I have not been near sickness of late,
Although my job does into medical offices me take,
Damn kids with their myriad of diseases,
Wish I could find the one that gave me this,
I would think very seriously about throwing them in a lake…
Nasal spray seems to the running alleviate,
My lifestyle for the next few days I will abbreviate,
The weekend does approach, a time for rest & relaxation,
From this plan this weekend I will not deviate…
Pills and nasal spray,
Will help to send this cold away,
Hopefully by Monday no remnant will be present,
No longer by that time will this cold me torment…

Why do you think they are called "head colds?" So you can use your head to write a clever, funny poem about your cold, silly! Sigh... You keep redefining the parameters here and thank god for it! Wheeeee
Oh, but I do hope you're better soon. Have you tried chicken soup? Vicks Vap-o-rub? (remember that? hehe) My mom always put an old diaper around our necks and Vicks on our chests. Don't think it did much good, but for a while all you could smell was that stuff... then she'd try to sneak liver onto the plate. HA! She couldn't fool me... Oops...
