Where does all that snot come from?

Where does all that snot come from…?

How many times can one blow their nose?

I have run out of tissues and the toilet paper store has closed,

I must have put them out of business, this last day or so,

Man, I cannot believe I have all this snot up inside my nose…

I am into using bath towels now,

Though if I were still living with mom, she would have a cow,

Bath towels are for drying off after bathing,

Not for blowing of the nose or in my case drying the car,

I thought they did work pretty damn good for both, the finish it did not mar…

Where does that snot go if not blown out?

Snort it back in and what happens to it,

Poor old mom would certainly have a fit,

Don’t sniff that stuff in; it is what made you sick,

Blow it out into a hankie, something strong as it sometimes comes out thick…

So again I do ask,

Where does all that snot come from?

Is my head full of it, does my brain in it bask?

If you do know the answer to my query here,

Please tell me where it comes from without any fear,

I know for a fact, at the very least, it does not come, thankfully, from my rear…

Bath towels? What's wrong with your sleeve?

Who else could do an entire series on having a cold and the snot that's involved, but you, EM?

This was a lovely way to spend my breakfast, reading this. YUCK! Hot tea with honey is the answer. Eat a lemon, though it's bad for tooth enamel. My dad's remedy is a shot of brandy, hot lemonade and go to bed... (not to mention the old family fav: yes, dear heart, COD LIVER OIL! How nice to have parents who bring their Viking rituals to their own children... ICK!) hehe.

That stuff you snort back up goes to your lungs, silly... then you have to be a good speller to write of that: pneumonia is what it's called... KEEP BLOWING! Sigh... ya poor thing... katy xox

It must be that snot dripping down your throat that made your tummy

catch a fit and runs for a dollar a minute!!

If not down that way ..lungs are the second best and that is dangerous !!

Just wash that towel before drying your windscreen...ot you will be in a mess!!
