Patience of a Dog…

Rufuz has all the patience in this house,

Maybe more so than that of a mouse,

He waits for me to walk him in the morning,

Even when I am sick and trying to figure what to wear,

Oh the hell with it I will just put on the big flowery blouse…

He sits outside on his leash,

Probably wishing to eat he had a quiche,

Or better yet the time would fly by,

If he did have to smoke some hashish,

But he still does wait without even a minor cry…

I got things I have to accomplish today,

But I just cannot get my butt in gear,

If I go out in the weather, will I return with more cold?

This is what I normally, when sick, fear,

But I have to do some things to keep us warm,

Old Ruffie and I need gas in case the future does bring a storm…

Oh well, time to get out, let me get a shower and shave,

Can’t look like a bum and smell like a slave,

Though that would keep people at bay,

I hate being around people on my days off, what else can I say…?

Yes they are patient aren't they and we had a snow storm here and it is still snowing. But Wanda requires that my husband dig a hole for her so she can twinkie. Quiche is actually good if you put what you would in an omelet. We had planned to go grocery shopping today. Looks like we did not make it.
