As a cough remedy, I do not this recommend...

LAXATIVE…

Couldn’t shake this cold & cough,

Damn it I must be gettin’ old, don’t scoff,

Found out I was taking the wrong pill,

Have to wait to take the new one until…

If I were to take it now,

Boy would I be in for it, oh wow,

You see the doctor did prescribe,

Something that would not me allow…

What the hell did he prescribe, you ask?

Ok, ok, let me just for the moment bask,

In the humor of this prescription,

You know he did give me the wrong one,

Had to drink down a bottle of laxative,

Since then I have been afraid to cough,

So I guess it did really work,

Next time he sees me, boy will he get a blast of conniption…

Damn it I must be gettin’ old, don’t scoff,

Not scoffing, but you must now sadly realize your fate - more and more laxatives, and numerous other assorted pills and potions and capsules - You are now in the Twilight Zone of 50+! Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!!!

good remedy
don't cough too hard
My doctor told me to suppress my cough
so I won't hurt my throat,
which I do a lot anyway,
it annoys the hell out of my wife
Stay warm Pal

But I did not cough through my mouth....but "something"

down UNDER without teeth was backchatting me...as I was laughing

so comfortly!!

Said something like a "The lion roar"...loud and clear!!

Good advise....never cough orlaugh before midday after taking the

same kinda medisine again...specialy at night before bedtime!!

One fine humor of a write. Laxative has no sense of time and some work when they feel like it. I like this write.
