I’ve got that “SINKING” feeling today…
Rain we have had since midnight,
Our campground is sinking out of sight,
No weather worse, even snow,
The creek next door like a river does flow…
Rain predicted for the next several days,
Pontoons I will need to float away,
In the hot summer months for this we will give praise,
But for now all we can do is wish for the suns warming rays…
My roof does not leak,
Even though the immediate future does look bleak,
I refuse to old mom Nature critique,
I just hope if we float away, it won’t happen till the end of the week…
Okay, Texas, we now got the rain you sent,
We appreciate it greatly; glad we don’t live in a tent,
Sorry about this rant, this is the only way I get to vent,
Hope, do we, this rain does not in anyway augment…

weather like that on a fishing trip
Oh it was fun ;)
belivie it or not
that exactly what I saw
during one of the hurricanes last year
A construction porter john
Gliding on a cushing of wind and water
along the road
past my house doing about 30 miles an hour
all this I observed from safty of my dinning room window
Had great front seats..... "hurricane humor"
