Hooked on a ‘Ceiling”…

The cat was minding his own business,

The puppy was stalking the cat he did confess,

The cat did not notice the dog while he was making his mess,

The dog did pounce with all due barking to express…

The cat, not expecting it did jump straight up,

Permanently hooking his claws in the ceiling tiles,

Getting down may now be not too easy, yes a trial,

But I swear to the god of cats; that dog will not live a very long while…

He did just amble away saying Happy April Fools day,

And though I may, yes I actually may be here till the next April first,

I really did try not to let the children hear all that I cursed,

I have to start living life on the ceiling,

How will I, up here alleviate my thirst…?J
