Is there such a thing as Normal…?

Six foot 3 inches tall,

Close to 300 pounds is all,

Have always liked to watch baseball,

Do very little do I to enthrall…

No training that is much formal,

Is that something abnormal?

Passed over for a brain,

Not very often do you hear me though complain…

Can make others laugh or cry,

From writing of humor or with pain I do imply,

I wonder what it is like to die,

To, of life, I must therein defy…

Is normal just a certain thing?

Does normal come in the spring?

Or does it exist on a fleeting wing?

Can it be tied together with a string?

Or do we need that wrap that does cling…?

What is after all is said and done, normal?

Who of us can pretend or claim to be as such,

Do we have to admit to having a crutch?

Or can we do so without so much as a softened touch…?
