Poetic Armpits

Who the hell knows where these things come from; now lift up your arm and take a deep sniff...

Poetic Armpits…

After many hours at his desk,

The poet does stink like the rest,

His armpits giving off body odor,

Would not like to know what his crotch smells like,

We all better hope he did in the shower use Zest…

He does perspire and sweats,

Over his poetry while puffing on a cigarette,

Worry does he about the end result,

His poetry does he exult,

His odor does all else insult…

One day he does realize,

Coming before the time he does idealize,

Told he is by the paperboy,

Man, you stink to high heaven,

If it were me; my mom would then bathe me,

You see I am still only eleven…

Absolutely nothing! misses your pen, Eddie M... hilarity obviously runs in your ink. As for me, I use Dove or Caress soap... but it makes perfect sense that you use Zest, evidenced by your zippy humor! What fun! Keep on keepin' on... katy xox

Hey bro. I am so insecure. I refuse to stink. I take so many precautions... ...well, you don't want to go there. Maybe it's my upbringing. Maybe it's my OCD. (Did you see "Matchstick Men" with Nicholas Cage?) Well, I'm not too far from that except that I'm totally better now and can tolerate a dust bunny or two in the right places. LOL Still. Thanks for sharing this offering. Love and peace to you. Regis
