Poetry of an Unusual Nature…

Unusual poetry has been of late coming my way,

It all seemed to start only just yesterday,

I was out in the sun soaking up the rays,

Wishing for all intents and purposes that I could get laid…

Then it hit me, like a bolt of pure energy,

I have now found that I have this modicum amount of synergy,

What ever it was, it was like I was having an orgasm,

All of a sudden my mind seemed to swirl,

There in front of me was this triadic microcosm,

Words spinning and attaching themselves to sentences,

None of which I understood,

All of which I did watch and thought I was going to hurl…

I am sorry to explain it in this manner,

I know not of any other, I am not a very good planner,

For the immediate future, my poetry may seem more than odd,

Even though for the past it has been at times,

More than, you may have thought, a façade…

Poetry of suicide, rejection and dark processes of thought,

Maybe when the bolt did hit me I should have fought,

But then again it was with such intensity that it would have me caught,

I worry with regards this; sometimes I seem to be downright distraught…

Well, Ed, perhaps it was that free-ride we have all been waiting for that some call a "flashback'? So sad to waste it on a "bummer," though. LOL. Strange or not, your poetry is always entertaining.
Take care,
Sherry
