Strained Brain…

Not just for breakfast anymore,

Nor lunch, nor dinner either,

Better to first drown your sorrows with ether,

A strainer used to do so with the brain,

Sold at any dollar store, now ain’t that insane…?

Don’t ask the hired help,

Gotta find that little item yourself,

Usually it is with the kitchen utensils,

You can get the one made for doing so with kelp…

Is it a strain to strain the brain?

Must we, while doing so, to whistle refrain,

If there is very little left of the brain,

Then the donator must have done too much cocaine,

Nothing more can herein be said,

These few words do everything contain…
