Not necessarily bright, definitely though a weighty subject

Light…

Light of the day,

The only way,

Yes I did that say,

I do love the light of the day…

No depends do I need,

My face I can sit and feed,

Working I must so in life I can succeed,

Taking good care I do of my not rusty steed…

In the light,

I do find I can write,

Sometimes better and more bright,

I try for you to thoroughly delight…

Not every poem has worth,

I try to inject in each some mirth,

Hopefully I am not the same as others on this earth,

My size is that of overly pudgy, seems though most like my girth…

"I try for you to thoroughly delight…"

You succeed at this with panache, wit and mucho delight, m'dear.

"Hopefully I am not the same as others on this earth..."

You are one-of-a-kind, Eddie M... never worry of that. The mold of you was smashed to smithereens... your uniqueness shines! (smile)

Ed, I find that I can write better in the light too! LOL...well, at least I can find the letters on the keyboard better. Though sometimes, Allen, will enter the room, and fuss at me for typing away in the dark of night. Your works all have worth and mirth! and are always a pleasure to read. Leah (smiling)
