I wanted to call

As usual, weird humor...

I wanted to call…

But the time was quite late,

Did not want to incur your fate,

I would have loved to speak to you, dear heart,

But it was all I could do at that late hour to fart…

You were on my mind,

I really wanted to call,

But the time I could not find,

More cheese I should eat,

My intestines then would be in a bind…

What the hell is this all about?

Am I speaking of a phone call,

Or do I of the loo again tout?

Hell if I know, as I misunderstand myself,

I only try to you all, enthrall…

Did you write this or did Rufuz? In any case, thanks for the humor, Ed. Love and peace. Regis

"What the hell is this all about?"

You're asking us??? It's an Eddie M extravaganza, with 3 or more themes, silly!

Few, if any, poets can tackle 'stream of consciousness' and be readable... OR... perhaps, I'm just used to your style(S)... I thought it was quirky, a lovely thing, I'd say. Carry on... katy xox

I would have loved to speak to you, dear heart,

Then you should have followed your instincts, and called me!
