No longer do I own two cars...

Postpartum Separation Anxiety…

You are right,

I have no clue as to what I herein of speak,

I do so mostly to make you laugh with tongue in cheek,

But into this one part of me I will let you for a second peek…

My old Grand Cherokee today is gone,

Given to a wonderful young man but still I feel withdrawn,

He was excited and happy to have this neat old wreck,

All I could say or do was to whine and moan, oh heck…!

That car was my newest,

Never had one with mileage below a hundred grand,

She got me through many a snowstorms wrath,

Never stuck was she, never on the road did she break,

And now I let this eighteen-year old friend my old girl take,

I wish them both well, I just hope he does not drive her into a lake…J

Looks in good condition for an old wreck, an old wreck like me knows there are more miles to go in the Grand old Cherokee than there ever could be in me.

I also hate to depart with reliable old cars, especially one who had seen you through the thick and the thin, and had become a companion more than just a car. Let's hope the 18-year-old will take good care of this car they way you do.

Oh I hate it to depart from my old cars!! I use them untill a total wreck then I replace it...and keep the old on in the back yard for spare parts....no joking...my Toyota has 280 thousand on the clock ans still goes like a bomb...and the Izusu 250 diesel LDV Oh boy he has about 700 thousand on the clock and still hopping along on three gears but still does the job!!

Would looooove to have this baby on the Picture though!!

I can understand your sadness, Ed. I drive a 19 year old Celica that I keep repairing because I can't bear to part with her. I got her when she was brand new and she has been the best car I have ever owned. I keep refusing to buy a new car for fear my heart will stray from my trusted and protective friend.
Take care,
Sherry

I can truly feel your pain, my friend. Since we also have a new truck now, my nephew has his eyes on my beloved old Explorer. But you are a much better man than me. I can't give her up - 200,000 miles of pure pleasure, she's taken me all around this marvelous country, and I'm keeping her - the nephew will just have to find another ride.

I even told the Little Woman to bury me in her, when the time comes for both me and my lovely old Green Machine. Hope she finds a big enough hole for the both of us.

He will though. the lake I mean. Of course he will. He'll treat her like a whore. She'll love it and never think of you again. Life is hell and then we die. LOL Yuk, Yuk. Har, Har. Giggle, smirk. Oh, yes, I'm the Grinch that stole the smile off everyones face. Keep an eye on Rufus, that Grand Cherokee probably meant as much to him as it did you.
