Descending Darkness…
Why the hell is getting dark so early?
The darkness does descend like me when surly,
By eight the nightlights are on,
By nine I cannot see my dog out on the lawn…
No don’t tell me,
This dark thing has something to do with global warming,
From the gods could this be nothing but a warning,
I just thought that in August it stayed light later,
Should I be worried as the winter is early forming…?
Such fear does darkness invoke,
If I could I would take a toke,
No more fear would then I feel,
Off as well then would my clothes I peel,
Out into the darkness to frolic nekkid,
Hope no one out there would then my virginity steal…

I am duly impressed, DW; running nekkid through the Barrens for 300 years now, and still a virgin. Your resolve is truly commendable. Keep Up the Good Work.
PS The increasing early summer darkness is part of the Apocalypse, I think.
