Following my dogs tail…
He keeps me in line,
He treats me just fine,
Trekking softly on life’s trail,
It’s easier when I follow Ruffies tail…
Sometimes though he is the taskmaster,
Wants me to lose weight does he,
Makes me walk sometimes so much faster,
Fortunately though as a trainer he does not charge a fee,
He knows his old dads body is such a major disaster…
Never does he use a whip,
Though with his tail he is well equipped,
He just grabs my hands with teeth so gentle,
He never does to me to be detrimental…
So its exercise I do get,
He drags me along on each trek,
Keeping me with him waving a blank check,
Lets face it; we both have fun, neither have any regrets…

i've kinda adopted a stray cat here at my new place. now i ain't much of a cat man, but this little critter was so friendly i just had to feed & water. still keep "Boots" outside, but he makes for a good listening post when i need to talk.
