Nighttime is just too damn dark…

And daytime is just to darn bright,

Must be the sun making all that light,

No rain for ages, below our quota,

All the rain is in Florida near Sarasota…

No campfires to brighten the night sky,

No stars should also burn, per those that fly high,

I like the nighttime, but the dark does make it scary,

The creatures of the night & my dog are just to damned hairy…

My flashlight needs “C” cells,

All I have are “D”s and triple “a’s,

For the life of me I cannot see in the dark five feet,

Maybe Nature can find a medium ground,

Between black as night and a sunny day, would be oh so neat…
