Poem Artwork

The muse does work in mysterious ways,

At times it does seem it does not exist,

But get one good thought and resist,

During the rest of the day one will forget that phrase…

Writing in church we do while we praise,

In the restaurant while we eat, the muse never pays,

In the john, can we write on toilet paper?

You’d be surprised where we write,

The mere act would of others amaze…

While watching TV,

Thoughts in our heads we see,

Driving down the road as well,

All kinds of stuff we write, a potpourri,

Who needs, when all is said and done, a writing degree?

This is so true.
Just when you think it's not safe to write anymore someone say's something and click. It's scribbled all over a piece of paper. In words that no-one else can decipher..
